JoJo Tanks is taking the rainwater-harvesting message to the heart of Sandton with a JoJo-branded cab.
“Urbanites are often the main water-wasters,” says JoJo Tanks managing director, Rod Cairns. “We tend to be wasteful because water is simply a tap away and the cost is still relatively low in South Africa. The reality however is that water is becoming more expensive and harvesting free rainwater from the sky for various household uses is both a pocket- and planet-friendly choice.”
So keep an eye out for the JoJo Tanks cab within a 65km radius of the Sandton hub, between now and the end of November. Catch a ride, take a selfie* with the cab (both you and the cab need to be the photo heroes) and you could stand a chance to win a JoJo Slimline™ tank (like the one on the cab, though you can choose different colours to go with your home – plus R2500 in cash towards the installation costs). Just mail the pic to firstname.lastname@example.org
Why a cab for a tank? “We want to raise awareness of the benefits of rainwater harvesting and also show style-conscious homeowners that we have all the shapes and all the colours that would complement any stylish home,” explains Cairns. “The cab has a wide radius to give us reach and frequency and it is also a great opportunity to reach a high LSM urban target audience. The in-cab win-a-tank competition and product brochures with contact details will enable us to track the efficiency of the promotion.”
