For its water recycling plants
eWasha offers a patented environmentally responsible solution to recover and cleanse car,bus and truck wash water thereby dramatically reducing water consumption and costs.
Says JoJo Tanks managing director Rod Cairns, “We salute Ewasha’s pioneering spirit in developing technology to save water in an industry where water usage is often reckless. Even more exciting is their efforts to educate corporates on rainwater harvesting as an effective method to reduce dependence on expensive municipal water supply. eWasha has also chosen to use JoJo tanks for their recycling plants – yet another endorsement of the quality of our products.”
The demand for eWasha installations is rapidly increasing nationwide as companies and Municipalities are becoming increasingly aware of environmental issues around reclamation and storage of clean water supplies for their operations. The eWasha carwash w ater recycling plants collect the used carwash water and pump it through a series of bioreactors that use a completely natural, biological process to clean the water of impurities such as soap, grease and dirt. No chemicals or complicated filters are used.
“Most of the sites we are developing at the moment,” says Phil Symons of eWasha, “include the installation of JoJo’s rainwater reservoir tanks to further reduce the dependence on municipal water supply. The Europcar plant at Jet Park in Johannesburg has installed a bank of JoJo water storage tanks with a 100,000L capacity. The tanks are filled by rainwater collected from the roof of the facility.” View the eWasha website on www.ewasha.co.za .
